Buxton Puppet Festival 2005

 

The third Buxton Puppet Festival took place over 24th - 30th July 2005 once again hosted by the British Puppet and Model Theatre Guild and the Buxton Opera House. It was the backdrop to the first international exchange between Funny Wonders and Yamabiko-Za Children's Theatre from Sapporo, Japan.

 

The festival featured performances by Indigo Moon Theatre, Lempen Puppet Theatre, Peak Puppets, Black Cat Theatre, Nori Sawa, Peter Wynne-Wilson, Yamabiko-Za Children's Theatre, Theatre of the Small, Stephan Mattram's Animata and the Babbling Vagabonds. It also featured a scratch night, festival of toy theatre, a puppet exhibition children's workshops and street theatre shows.
